Discover the culinary perfection of Lan and join Asian-Elements.com in conjunction with Click2Asia in celebrating the release of Justin Lin’s critically acclaimed film, Better Luck Tomorrow. April 12th marks Asian-Elements.com’s first anniversary, and we can think of no better way to commemorate the occasion than promoting this gifted filmmaker's cinematic debut.

The story of a gang of Asian teens descending into a tawdry world of excess and crime in suburban LA, Better Luck Tomorrow has received accolades from dozens of critics, including Roger Ebert and Rolling Stone’s Peter Travers. Lin has been profiled on NPR’s “All Things Considered” and interviewed on “Talk of the Nation.” Both the Sundance and Toronto film festivals picked the film as an official selection in 2002--making it the first Asian-American film to appear at Sundance. And in another historical first, Better Luck Tomorrow became the first Asian-American movie ever acquired by MTV Films.

Better Luck Tomorrow premiers in Chicago on April 11th, giving you two days to see it before its release is celebrated at Lan’s. The film is on a limited run in Chicago, LA, San Francisco and New York so be sure to catch it before it leaves. Remember, the more seats the theater fills on opening weekend, the more likely MTV will release Better Luck Tomorrow nationally, giving Lin and Asian-American cinema the recognition they both deserve and demand. For those of you bearing ticket stubs or advance tickets to Better Luck Tomorrow, you will receive a free bottle of Sapporo or Singha at the Asian-Elements.com anniversary party. Tickets are $20 for gentlemen and $5 for ladies, but part of evening's proceeds will benefit the Japanese American Service Committee Charity.

Lan’s doors open at 10 PM. and its exquisite sushi bar will serve until 1 a.m. DJs will spin hip hop, old school, new wave and k-pop throughout the evening, and the bar remains open until 3 AM. Valet Parking is available, and only those dressed in upscale attire will be admitted (Jackets suggested for gentleman--no sneakers, hats, T-shirts, jeans or baggy pants).

Bring business cards and get ready to network with Chicago's best!

Admission: Gentlemen $20
Ladies $5

· Only ages 21 or over admitted with valid ID
· Ladies who bring a non-returnable photo and fill out a modeling application receive complimentary admission.
